
Mrs. Evelena Chandler was born October 28, 1966 in Little Rock to the late James Sr. and Verlie Farmer. She joined Morris Chapel church at an early age. She departed this life on February 15, 2012.
She is preceded in death by her parents James Sr. and Verlie Farmer, three sisters: Christine Jackson, Erma Williams, and Alice Farmer. One brother David Farmer Sr.
She is survived by her husband, Heath O. Chandler, daughters: Jacquelyne Nicole Farmer and Javon Chandler. Special brother in law Donya Tilmon. Special nieces: Amber, Whitnee, Britnee Farmer, Barbara Malvin, Lilyann Farmer, Makenzy Farmer, Jaeda Brown, and special nephews Bryson Farmer and Xavier Brown. Brothers: James Jr. (Shirley), Milton (Bertha), Esau Sr. Farmer, Sisters: Isabella (Lindsey) Cotton, Alline Brown, Lucille (Richard) Veasley, Dorothy Farmer, and Barbara (Ray) Solee and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
The visitation will be held Friday, February 24, 2012 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Services will be Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Both at Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Scott, AR.

Frances Craig, 96 of England, passed away January 26, 2012. She was born August 16, 1915 to Albert and Caline Reed. She loved to garden, cook, spend time with family, and she was retired from working for the state of Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her husband Cecil Craig, a son Thomas (Janice) Craig of England, two brothers J.D. Reed and Theodus Reed and two sisters Ola Jones and Ardle Yarbrough.
She is survived by two grandchildren Regina Mitchell (Tim) and Melissa Teer (Brian) ; 3 great-grandchildren Kelsey Craig, Harley Hightower, and Shelby Teer.
Services: Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Jeanie Burton officiating. Pallbearers were Woody Davis, Lee Davis, Eddie Morgan, Harvey Harrington III, Mitch Dulaney, and Robert Alberson. Visitation: Saturday, January 28, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Both at Wilson Funeral Home of England. Burial at Mulberry Cemetery.

Maeyuine Tull-Purdom, 92 of England, left this world on Friday, January 13, 2012 to begin her new life with our heavenly father. She was preceded in death by her father, John Waddle, her mother, Winnie Waddle, Morris Tull then Edward Purdom and a daughter Peggy Purdom.
She is survived by a special doggy “Sandy”, a daughter Betty and Jim Wendland of Harrison, AR, a son Billy Joe and Rachel Tull of Lyons, Colorado, and a sister Betty Clark of England, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
She spent her younger years in Keo before moving to California. She moved back to Arkansas in her 70’s to enjoy her family and retirement. She was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a very special friend to all who knew her. Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of the services.

Letha Laurene (Haney) Wood, age 91, of England, passed away January 5, 2012. She was born September 30, 1920 in Belleville, AR to the late Ruel and Elsie Haney.
Letha was a longtime and very devoted member of County Line Missionary Baptist Church and fulfilled many active roles there. She taught Sunday School, sang in the choir and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She worked for Dr. Fletcher Baugh for 35 years and retired at age 83. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, canning, quilting, growing flowers and preparing food for those she loved.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Allen E. Wood, 2 brothers, Raymond Haney and Harold Haney and 1 sister, Dorothy Lakey. She is survived by a brother, Leroy Haney and a sister Doris Murphy of North Little Rock; by 2 sons, David Wood and wife Carolyn of Vilonia, Ronny Wood of England and Jane Weatherford of Furlow and 2 daughters, Jo Ann McCoy and husband Dr. Jim McCoy of Searcy, Janet Cartwright and husband Dowell of Ward; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 9, 2012 at County Line Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home.
